You are invited to attend the London Borough of Sutton's Holocaust Memorial Day event on Friday 26th January 2018 at Stanley Park High School. The event will commence at 10.15am and finish around 12.30pm.
This is an important opportunity to hear from a survivor of the Holocaust, who is also a local resident within the borough. Mrs Eve Gill will talk about what happened to her, her friends and her family; how she came to England and then had to adjust to learning English and living in a foreign environment.
There will also be talks from Paul Scully MP on the Rohingya situation in Myanmar and Bangladesh, and Rabbi Shmuli Sagal who will conduct a prayer and minute of silence.
Sutton students will also be presenting their creative interpretations of this year's theme, 'The Power of Words'.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Tom Webb at email@example.com or 020 8770 4796.
